Booklets, labels and every print layout

  • Booklet printing, side-fold or top-fold: pages print in folding order, two to each side of the sheet. File > New has a booklet to start from.
  • Label sheets print exactly on Avery Letter sheets (5160, 5161, 5162, 5163, 5164, 5167, 5168, 5195, 5266, 5395, 8371 and 8387), and can start at any row and column of a part-used sheet.
  • Many more ways to print: folded cards from a quarter or half sheet, posters spread across several sheets, several to a sheet with your own margins and gaps, shrink to fit the paper, both sides by hand, collated copies, grayscale and black-ink output, and crop, bleed and registration marks.
  • 101 templates in 27 categories, including catalogs, emails, ads, business forms and folded paper crafts, plus a label template for every label sheet.
  • .pub files: two-page spreads open as two pages, and text keeps its original line breaks.

Updates itself

  • PubStudio checks for a new version at start-up and every 6 hours, downloads it in the background and installs it when you close the app. Copies of 0.3.1 and older need the new installer once.
  • Opens more picture types (TIFF, EMF, WMF, EPS and more) and more mail merge lists (Excel, Access, Outlook contacts, Word tables, dBASE).
  • Asks Save, Don't Save or Cancel before closing or opening something else with unsaved changes.
  • .pub files: text kept with the facing page of a spread shows on the right page, and table rows grow to fit their text.
